Recommendations assume your uploaded statements are representative of a typical spending pattern, annualized across the months covered. If they aren’t (e.g., a holiday outlier or a month you traveled heavily), our calibration disclosure shows exactly which categories were extrapolated and how to adjust.

To identify your card, we send Anthropic statement excerpts after applying redaction to remove names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and account and card numbers, including the last four digits. Some personal text can remain. We apply a separate redaction step before sending statement text for the audit. For members, card-ending digits are kept to distinguish cards of the same product.
Documents are processed in-session and discarded when you close the tab.
