Terms of Service

Plume Points is an independent credit-card rewards audit: it reads the statements you upload, checks the rewards you earned against each card’s published earning rules, and shows where a different card or strategy would have captured more. It is an informational tool. Plume Points is independent and not endorsed by any card issuer. For some cards, we may earn referral compensation if you apply through our links; most cards carry no such link. This compensation never influences our recommendations, which are scored independently of any referral relationship.

Plume Points provides information about credit-card rewards programs. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in the product is a recommendation to open, close, or use any financial account. Card terms change at issuers’ discretion — verify current terms with the issuer before making decisions.

Plume Points is in beta. Card models are built from issuer-published terms and verified progressively against real statement formats; where the engine can’t verify something, it says so rather than guessing — but audits may contain errors, and figures are estimates, not guarantees.

Plume Points is billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal to stop all future charges; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months or unused time. The 3-day free trial lets you evaluate the service before any charge; it requires a card and converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel during the trial.

Upload only statements for accounts you hold or are authorized to manage. Don’t attempt to probe, overload, scrape, or reverse the service, and don’t use it to process other people’s financial documents without their authorization.

How statements and derived data are processed, stored, and deleted is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rhodesters LLC’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Plume Points in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and Plume Points is not liable for decisions made in reliance on audit output, for issuer actions, or for indirect or consequential damages. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Plume Points is an independent tool, is not financial advice, and its audits and recommendations are estimates you should verify with your card issuer before acting.

You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse of the service or violation of these terms.

We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

Plume Points is operated by Rhodesters LLC, a Texas limited liability company. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
